<image:title>Puppetry - Open Theater Workshop’s THE DYBBUK: OR, BETWEEN TWO WORLDS</image:title>
<image:caption>The Dybbuk by S. An-sky (written 1913-1916) is a gothic romance between two young lovers, a mythological tale about a broken promise, and a folkloric snapshot of Jewish life in the Pale of Settlement as interpreted by writer and ethnographer An-sky. Incorporating klezmer music, Yiddish folk dance, and shadow puppets based on traditional paper cutting, this community-focused production of the rarely staged Russian-Yiddish play will be the culmination of an innovative, year-long creative process that began with a series of free theater workshops hosted by Philadelphia’s Open Theater Workshop. Lead puppeteer and designer. Performed at the Louis Bluver at the Drake in 2025.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Puppetry - Open Theater Workshop’s THE ALCHEMIST’S COMEDY OR TRAGEDY</image:title>
<image:caption>Join Open Theater Workshop for our production of The Alchemist’s Comedy… or Tragedy by Philadelphia playwright Evelyn Richardson! Set just after the invention of the printing press, watch Aurelia, the daughter of the court alchemist, race against the clock to navigate castle politics and unravel her father’s secret notes to attain the highest goal of alchemy: transmutation of lead into gold–before it’s too late. In this new play written in verse, the audience controls Aurelia’s most fateful decision; deciding whether the story reaches a comic or tragic conclusion. Lead puppeteer and designer; Frog. Performed at SideQuest Theater in 2026.</image:caption>
